La Pitavola
The Pitavola of Comapedrosa was created with the aim of celebrating the 21th anniversary of the establishment of the Comapedrosa Natural Park.
It is a weekend of festivities dedicated to everyone who wishes to come together in a family-friendly and convivial atmosphere.
The village of Arinsal becomes the epicenter of crafts, culture, the environment, and all kinds of activities. Since 2021, we have discovered traditional trades there, such as basket weaving, glass blowing, and even wool working.
It is a cross-border gathering that brings together artisans and visitors from Andorra, Catalonia, and Ariège.
The partnership between the Alt Pirineu Natural Park, the Regional Natural Park of the Ariège Pyrenees, the Sorteny Valley Natural Park, and the Comapedrosa Natural Park, as the Pyrenean Park of the Three Nations, makes this weekend a truly multicultural event.
In each of its editions, the Pitavola unveils the sculpture of the year. Now, as you walk through the village, you can come across the Pitavola (2021), the Serenalla (2022), the Isard (2023), and the Bearded Vulture (2024).

IMPORTANT: Reservations must be made at least 2 hours before the activity.
Guided tours and night-time observations cost €2 and can be booked until Friday 3 October at 3 pm at https://portal.wetown.app/la-massana/tickets.
All participants registered for the activities will receive a ticket to take part in the Tapas Route.
Children's activities are free but have limited capacity.
The Leica Experience sessions are free and open to everyone, but with limited capacity.
The organization reserves the right to modify or cancel the activities planned in the program without prior notice.
Most of the proposed events are outdoors, therefore, it is recommended to come equipped for outdoor activities (suitable footwear, warm clothes, sun protection...).
